So, I see JKR has decided to throw some petrol on the ship-wank fires. (Headline editors are throwing even more on, of course, since Harry isn't even mentioned in the quotes currently going around, so making it about who he should be with is blatant trolling for attention.)

Otherwise... well, I can't say I am entirely surprised that the current wealthy, successful JKR with her stable relationship and family would tell a different story than the one that unemployed single mother on welfare JKR would tell.

Aside from that, I think I shall stay out of things until we actually get the entire interview and it's context.
It has been a while since I posted here, hasn't it. Whoops?

It my defense, I've been busy with Teh New Job and what-not. And... other forums, I suppose. (Sorry LJ, I've been cheating on you).

But there were some Doctor Who thingamies airing earlier, so I had to return and comment.

So we had the prequel to the Christmas special, which managed to be both lulzy and made me want to give the Doctor a hug. He's all a bit Scrooge right now, isn't he? Also, Vastra and Jenny and Strax need some kind of wacky Victorian crime-fighting show, because they are wonderful.

And then there was the actual Christmas special trailer, which does look rather interesting. Those snowmen with the evil grins! The evil snow! The new companion, who is incidentally looking not quite as Mary Poppins as this picture, but still... Also, Doctor in Amy's glasses.

Plus with both we got intros with Matt Smith and new girl Jenna, who is adorable.

In completely different news, Rebuild of Evangelion 3.0 came out in today, and I've had a fun few hours watching people flip out over spoilers/fake spoilers/misinterpreted spoilers/badly translated spoilers. It seems to have settled a bit more now the spoilers are coming from more reliable (and understandable) sources, not that's killed the endless character wank. Which is a bit less popcorn worthy.

'Course, it's not like I'll be able to see it for ages until a decent camrip/DVD rip is gotten and subbed. (Which will of course set people flipping all over again. Huzzah.)

But if you're curious, the first six and a half minutes are on Youtube, in HD. Subs are around if you know where to look...
