I think my timing in scrapping Time and Chips from my flist was excellent (though actually inspired by all the smut I'm not interested in). I seem to be missing most of the bad emo.
What I'm getting are sighs/screams/dances of relief...
What does that say about the rest of my flist, I wonder?
Hmm? So the shippers don't really figure into the fandom? I meant that as sighs of relief, screams of relief or dances of relief, not the other way it might have been read...
Well, there's a little bit of 'it had to happen' in there as well, though.
My flist may be reasonably representative, but I actually doubt it. I'm not very discriminating based on shipper yes or no, but I do discriminate for sanity and other shared interests, and I think that might be to some degree self-selecting...
Eh, I was reading that a mix of positive and negative, which is why I pulled the representative thing.
And the shippers as a group tend to representative of most traits, just... turned up to 11, as they say. There are the wailers and the angry and also the sane few who point out the inevitability of it all. But the crazies are always the most vocal.
TWoP is outraged. OUTRAGED I TELL YOU! And there has to be a kiss and a declaration of love in the finale, the show owes it to them, and Rose is going to die saving the entire universe, because no other way would be suitable. *rolls eyes*
I'm just excited because maybe this means we'll get a super-hot male companion again. But then, I'm very shallow.
(Is it wrong that I'm rooting for some kind of mysterious alien pregnancy, possibly of Time Lordian origins, at the end of which Rose dies whilst giving birth to a TARDIS and Susan Senior? That's wrong, isn't it?)

Sorry. I clicked 'refresh' and this showed up at the top of my flist. Just made me laugh. Thanks for the amusement.
Anything in *particular* (a specific comment, I mean. I know why fandom is emo ATM) that triggered this?

EVERYTHING THEY SAY IS TRUE.I'm just excited because maybe this means we'll get a super-hot male companion again. But then, I'm very shallow.
