OMG!

OMG, I have HBP! I have read HBP!

And OMG it is fucking amazing!

I swear, I am so in love with this book. It's beautiful and terrible and clever and dark and funny and tragic and shocking...

And I saw hardly anything that was coming. The OMG-ness of it all!

JKR, you're my hero!
*bows down and is not worthy*

There are no words for how much I love this book. I swear, fucking fantastic stuff.

I have never, never gotten this excited or worked out by fandom before, and good gods it is worth it.

The entire fandom has gone completely batshit insane right now, and I love it!

*cackles as the fandom implodes*

Though, there is going to be some freaking fantastic fanfic written in the future, and I really can't wait!

It's definitely become my favourite so far, but from the looks of what is brewing, the last book is going to be the best damned thing ever.

Bring on Book 7!

Breath, remember, deep breaths.

I don't need oxygen, dear, I have new Harry Potter.

BTW, you read it yet?

[identity profile] altheas.livejournal.com 2005-07-17 07:43 am (UTC)(link)
No, I'm in bushtown. However since I move back tomorrow (more like today), you can be nice and lend it to me.

For the record, my guestimate is on Snape getting killed off. (after avoiding all spoilers)

Let the knowing mocking ensue

[identity profile] drakyndra.livejournal.com 2005-07-17 07:46 am (UTC)(link)
No, 'm not going to lend you my copy.

Oh, and as for your prediction: *mysterious smile*

[identity profile] fa11ing-away.livejournal.com 2005-07-17 07:55 am (UTC)(link)
nuuuu!
I haven't been able to get a copy yet either...
Goddang it!

But I rather doubt that snape dies. He's far to shexy to die. I mean, I don't think that J K Rowling would be so cruel to all those crazy fan girls as to kill off the object of their adoration. But then again, she did kill off Sirius...
*sobs*

*smiles mysteriously again*

One piece of advice, though: If you don't want to be spoiled, be very careful on LJ. There are spoilers running wild and there are some things you will not want to be spoiled over.

[identity profile] fa11ing-away.livejournal.com 2005-07-17 08:03 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, I think I've already been spoilt by the Times review, but only slightly so. But still, I think i know too much for my own good.

That's it! I'm not hopping on the net until I get my own copy...I just hope i can get it soon! ><

Thankys for the warning though ^^,

Let's just say that what happens has sent a huge number of people in the fandom completely mental.

No kidding. There was the calm before the storm while everyone was reading, then...BAM. Wow.

[identity profile] drakyndra.livejournal.com 2005-07-17 09:39 am (UTC)(link)
It's so much fun, I just adore it.

There is so much good come out of this book, I'll be in a good mood for months!

*smooches* Thanks for not spoiling me!

Am in complete agreement with everything you said (except for the part of not seeing it coming).

[identity profile] drakyndra.livejournal.com 2005-07-18 09:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I wouldn't want to ruin your fun...

And even though not seeing what would happen might make me stupid, I think I really preferred reading it that way - then it has impact.

No, it doesn't make you stupid. That's just your reading style-you like the surprise! My husband is the same way; he refuses to discuss much HP theory with me for just that reason, he likes the surprise. Very frustrating for me-I live for theory! :)

[identity profile] drakyndra.livejournal.com 2005-07-19 05:43 am (UTC)(link)
It's a bit odd, though, because I am very good normally at predicting things in other books and movies and all...it's just Harry Potter that tends to blind-side me.

Although, I much prefer being swept up in a story, and not knowing what would happened, then predicting it.
