Have been slightly zonked out today, as last night I went to the SCA Midwinter Masquerade. Which was quite a lot of fun, even if me turning up was an incredibly last minute thing (I didn't know it was on until yesterday arvo).

...It's sort of depressing that despite being on the Uni SCA clubs committee, I hear about these things from fa11ing_away.

Anyhood, there were pretty, pretty outfits, and dancing about, and some yummy foods (Mmm, deep fried cheese) and Mulled Wine of which I may have had rather too much), and all in all was a fun night.

And that was yesterday.

Today? Was Doctor Who.

My thoughts:

OMG HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT WAS AWESOME!

And I say this as someone who was completely spoiled for it all, it was still damned fun and entertaining, and I can't stop watching the last couple of minutes of it.

See, though I love Sam Tyler, I never had a crush on him. But Simm as the Master? HOLY FUCK YES! Like two minutes, and I'm head over heels.

...I'm not entirely sure why. Possibly it's the whole Doctor-through-a-dark-mirror aspect of the personality.
