drakyndra | To shop, or not to shop...

Well, as it is a Saturday, and I am She-Who-Has-No-Social-Life, I went into town on my own today. It was rather interesting. I decided to go to the movies, and was torn between seeing I, Robot and Farenheit 9/11. But as much as I like seeing Bush-bashing (BTW, does anyone else think that sounds really dirty?) I felt like something a little more brainless. So I, Robot it was. It wasn't bad, and the special effects were great, but it didn't actually take sci-fi to a new level.

I was also very annoyed that Something Rotten still isn't out in Australia, so I ended up just buying other random things, like the Dallas Crane album (which I am now listening too) and putting a buch of DVDs on laybuy - namely The Princess Bride and Futurama Season 3.

It all ended well, but my stunningly complex budgetary calculations now inform me that I cannot buy anything else, except for essentials, this term. Fortunately, I am including Jasper Fforde books under essentials (must now go and wait for September 1st)

Intrigue again. I bought Season 3 last holidays! It has my favourite episode - Roswell that Ends Well - on it. "Don't cut that - I need it to speak!"

Channel 7 did such a shoddy job showing the 4th series - I don't think they even showed the last episode. I'll probably buy Season 4 this coming holidays. I won't be buying SR myself, though - my mum's a librarian, and I get to read the books first.

I am attempting to buy all the box sets by the end of the year. (that works out as 1 a term, which my budget allows for)
The bloody libraries around here are useless though, they don't have any of the Fforde books, so I have to buy it if I want to read it.

I mainly want Season 4 so I can see 'The Why of Fry' - it sounds interesting. And I've been informed by several other guys that 'Jurassic Bark' is sad.

I'll remember that (about the email) The one I have at the Fforum is areal one for me, but I only check it like once a week. I have a school email, but I can't put it online because it shows my name, AND my school.

And Futurama Season 4 does sound interesting. Can't remember if I 've seen any of it or not.

I've got such an easy week of school - half day tomorrow, late start on Tuesday, and no Friday! But, I still have work on Friday - it's at Kumon.
