Fun and Games

You know what's really annoying? Trying to work on your Creative Writing assignment, and instead just getting plot bunnies for fanfic. Twisted, smutty, Doctor Who plot bunnies.

*sighs*

And I rather like this idea, too, even if I can't actually write it until I see New Earth, seeing as it is an AU of a spoiler for that, and I'd like to see the point at which my AU actually becomes, well, alternate.

In extra-curricular news, I have become the temporary Secretary of FAS by default. Which is really, really weird.

I had my first actual session of D and D today. Which was rather fun (though it would have been more so if I was less tired, and, you know, actually knew what I was supposed to do. Not much really happened for my character (who has now been dubbed Linnadhiel. Or Lina when she isn't performing).

Still, we had some fabulous other characters. [livejournal.com profile] ephant is playing an, ahem, seamstress, who chatted up the bartended in every inn we went into. And we also had a weed-smoking Druid, who had the most amazingly slashy subtext (ie. pretty much text), with a human-hating elf ranger.

Oh, and I couldn't stop giggling at the things that our DM, [livejournal.com profile] mercdaemon was saying, because they kept sounding incredibly wrong.

Looks like it might be rather fun, once I get the hang of it.

ETA: Also, GIP, because it is utterly hilarious.

Are they any old snakes are on they motherf*cking snakes on the TARDIS?

Motherf*cking snakes, naturally.

Good.

Never let an essay get in the way of perfectly healthy plot-bunnies.

Would be my advice if I didn't have a Shakespeare essay to write.

I've got something like that as well. *facepalms* Except I don't know if mine's AU or not, and it's been around since I got my ficathon song.

Love for the seamstress. I think I love your game a lot.

Snakes on the TARDIS... there should be fic. Because it would be dead easy to find snakes on the TARDIS. Less easy to find Samuel L Jackson onna TARDIS, though.

And I have some stupid Creative Writing stuff to do. *sighs* It'll be late, in any case.

The game does sound like fun. Hope it stays that way.

Try [livejournal.com profile] snakes_in_a_fic. There isn't much there as of yet, but we might be able to build up the Snakes on the TARDIS quotient.

I shall read it when finished, anyway. :)

It should do. *grins* If not, there are ways to make it cracktastic, I'm sure.

I think I may have to write a tiny ficlet about snakes onna TARDIS.
