Which is possibly why Ten!smut doesn't weird me as much. We've seen Ten be tactile and ...oral, so it sort of fits with him. Whereas I just can't imagine Nine having sex. Actually, even the thought of him kissing feels a bit odd to think about - PotW ending notwithstanding. I find it hard to visualise him as going much beyond the hugs and handholding (though this might just be my own mental blocks)
The emo timegasms probably didn't help, mind. There's nothing like bad smut to put you off a certain pairing.
