Addendum to Lessons in Comm Management

To follow on from our previous lessons:

Lesson the Ninth: If you have been made a character-fan comm mod, calling the character in question a slut, bitching about the actresses commentary on the character, and saying you don't even want the character to be friends with the show lead in said comm? Does not exactly compell people to want to join.

She started a '10 and Martha' comm, but lately has done nothing but snark about Martha and call her nasty names?

That's just, well, odd.

It was a friend of hers that started it, but she asked to be a mod.

And as far as I can tell, her main use of the comm is somewhere public to bitch about Martha, seeing that time_and_chips has said no Martha discussion and lifeonmartha has horrid people who say things such as Rose isn't the greatest companion in all of Whodom.

Strangely enough, the comm info doesn't include a 'no character bashing' rule. Funny that.

I'm looking forward to Martha. It took me the first season to fall in love with Rose, mostly because she's not like me (brainy, academic type) and there was a lack off connection between us. Martha, from what I read of her background is much more like me and that pleases me. I have fangirl dreams of how I would react discovering and meeting a man like the Doctor and I hope that Martha will aid in that wish-fulfillment. Hehe.

Canonically, I was apathetic about Rose in the first series, and by the end of the second was somewhat sick of her - and I'm definitely sick of her rabid fans. I like change, and so I am looking forward to Martha, something different. (Also, someone a little more pro-active and forthright would appeal.)

Also, the mod of a Marth comm complaing a trailer has too much Martha. Methinks they have missed the point.
