Today I missed my first lecture, because like half of Uni was evacuated because of a gas leak.

And I also had a lecture on Star Wars.

And in my CCM tute, we got to spend half an hour coming up with a set-up and marketing ideas for a movie entirled "Attack of the Killer Cane Toads".

And I spent rather a lot of the afternoon playing epic Munchkin. Which was win.

It was the best day of Uni ever.

PS. My name is in The Age today, as one of a bunch of people in the Education section complaining about the "Melbourne Model". Alas, they spelt it wrong.

omg, I wish I'd have a lecture on Star Wars. :P

Heard about the gas leak at uni - I didn't have classes at that time though, that would've rocked to have a legitimate reason to miss class for once except for the whole, you know, possibility of being blown up thing.

Well, it wasn't all on Star Wars, but the culture of blockbuster movies. It did have it's own opening crawl, though.

12 000 people evacuated...but the real problem, I think, is that the various cafes in the area could not cook chips. The gas burners were all out. I wonder why...
