AGM = A Ginormous Monstrosity

If you ask why I am posting this late, my one answer for you is that evil of evils, the IH AGM.

I mean, the damn thing went for four and a half hours! That is just..evil.

Naturally, I paid extremely little attention to most of it. And by about half way through, I stopped filling in voting slips, and either tuned it out completely, or just read my book (Wicked, borrowed off...someone. Over the course of the meeting I got up to page 232)

Anyway, there were a couple of amusing moments. Like Parky's highly entertaining and extremely random video depictions of what happened this year. Or Joe's election speech, halfway through which he turned on a CD of "I'm too sexy", and started stripping. (Thankfully, he was stopped when he started removing his pants) Or when Student Club passed a motion to purchase Zambia.

And in other news: 2 days to Serenity! w00t!

1 Day on the Clock...

You get three guess as to what I am counting down to, and the first two don't count.

Anyway, as nobody deigned to give me a response to any of the things I posted over the weekend that were actually important, I shall do a little cut-and-paste, and put them up again.

Because, yet again, if I don't have a place to stay by Friday, I am basically screwed.

Also, thinking a bit ahead: I will be going home for a bit over the holidays, but I will be returning on either the 27th or 28th, in time for the actual Premiere of Serenity. (BTW, who is orgaising a Second Floor outing for that? I want to make sure my name is down for a ticket) But, I return my dear college on the Second of October.

So a place to crash for the 4 or 5 nights is required. Any takers?

Also, neo_leviathan, you owe me money, and everyone else has already paid. They are starting to make you look bad, dear.

neo_leviathan, altheas, lena_supercat: And as for tomorrow, I do believe that the 6:45 train from Flinders Street was decided on. So, we should all be ready to leave Second Floor by 6:15, just to be sure. Please be on time.
