Whoa. Things have been busy, busy, busy over the last few days - and they don't appear to be getting any less so for the next little while, either.
So what's been going on...
Seeing as I nabbed the Doctor Who videos from yesterday's FAS meeting, last night I went and washed the entire of The Dalek Invasion of Earth, accompanied by
fa11ing_away (For those who don't know me in RL - she's a housemate, and also a Doctor Who fan, brought in by Teh Tennant, who wanted to see what th eold stuff was like).
( Oh noes! 40 year old spoilers! )
Also, the Comedy Festival is going on in Melbourne at the moment. Because of CHAS, I've gone and gotten some tickets for things, which means tomorrow I will be seeing Dylan Moran of Black Books fame, and then next Monday is The Glasshouse, w00t! Yay for CHAS!
Of course, this means I wouldn't be heading to my parents for Easter. Or getting chocolate from them. Woe.
Today, however, consisted of a Creative Writing workshop, which was alright, then Star Trek club, in which we saw the pilot of Stargate (I keep expecting to see the TARDIS in that wormhole thingamy), which also wasn't bad.
And then there was the Dungeons and Dragons game of amusingness.
( Cut for insanity )
Also, today I was wearing my Outfit of Awesomeness. 'Twas fun.
Especially when the bloke in the courtyard selling second-hand clothes gave me a free top (even if it is in slightly crappy condition). He seems to like my style.
Random Quotes:
Charlie (my Creative Writing tutor): "I'm not going to pretend that Germans are cute and cuddly. Unless they are wearing those shorts."
From the D&D game
neo_leviathan: (To me) "You could be a vegetarian cannibal."
"Are we going to get some hot hot lesbian sex in our campaign?"
ETA: I can't believe I forgot to mention this: Doctor Who ship stuff makes Fandom_Wank. I die laughing. Oh, you crazy peoples, you never fail to amuse me.
