So, according to this person here, who met John Barrowman at a con, Captain Jack is definitely confirmed for Doctor Who S3, having signed the contract and all.

Not pleasant

So, I went and took the bandage off, to see how my foot was going (it's quite decently walkable, but I have a fairly noticable limp).

It's all purple and blue and ick. :(
