Y HALO THAR INDIANA JONES TRAILER!

...Yeah, that was my excitement on Valentine's Day. Indiana Jones and Torchwood.

Egads, I'm such a geek.

ETA: There totally should be fic crossing over between Indiana Jones and the Whoniverse. Doctor Jones needs to meet Doctor Jones.

Agreed!

I'm surprised it hasn't happened already?

Ha! But I can totally outgeek you! I'm equally excited for the Lego Indiana Jones (http://www.lucasarts.com/games/legoindianajones/) soon to come out. Legos and Indy! OMGZ!

SQUEEEE! Thanks so much for linking, I'm passionate about Indy. Totally love the fact that he's fallible, can act like a big kid and get hurt (in Raiders of the Lost Ark, one of my favourite scenes has to be his moaning "Ow" wherever his lady friend tries to kiss him) ... and I think the recent success of National Treasure shows how much we all miss movies with long-lost discoveries and such (I still get chills over the map room scene).

I'm with you, [livejournal.com profile] eido over the game, too - I have the 2nd Star Wars game that they released of the original movies and love that to bits. ^^

If it wasn't, you know, a total abuse of power, I'd go to LoM and insist someone write it for me.

There probably is, but I want a Marthatastic version.

Also, I am too lazy to look for it.

And the Lego games all look adorable, even if I am not a game person at all.

Weirdly enough, despite Star Wars being one of my once and always fandoms, I saw Indy first. And have seen Last Crusade more times than any Star Wars movie. (Though that was mainly down to the fact it seems to be repeated all the time)

And National Treasure is just discount Indy.

If I could write I'd rite it for you. Alas, I can't.

That one gets the love of course, but you know those games have to be good when it makes the NuLogy bearable, even fun. LegoAni>>>HaydenAni

*random squee for Okami icon* It's brilliant they're re-releasing that for a Wii. Wiimote=paintbrush=WIN!!!

There probably is, but I want a Marthatastic version.

I can already see Ten's put-out face, a professor around as hot hotter and with a whip! than he is stealing his companion away. I could see Martha being an easy match for him like Marion or Ilsa (except minus the whole evil Nazi thing).

And the Lego games all look adorable, even if I am not a game person at all.

I don't know if in good conscience I should obsessively push the reccing and will you to buy them as when you start playing them? They. suck. your. life. away. Promises just to pick it up for 15 mins fall on deaf ears with sour thumbs an hour later. I think it's something about the SuprEmo scenes re-enacted in Lego (Lego!Padme's death is quite amusing) and Lego!Chewie tearing Lego!Stormtroopers arms off with a *plock plock* sound that is just so incredibly addictive.

That would be utterly awesomesauce. Though I expect Ten would be a bit of a fan of Indy, too.

Seriously, I doubt you could get me into any games. I tend to stick to Tetris and puzzle type things, and leave anything else to others.

Oh, he totally would be, right up until he noticed his companion has written "Love" and "You" on each eyelid respectively and only seems to be looking at the part-time professor.

Seriously, I doubt you could get me into any games. I tend to stick to Tetris and puzzle type things, and leave anything else to others.

That's the thing!! The Lego Star Wars games are specifically designed for A) Long term SW fans of all ages B) Folks that hardly game at all. I thought they'd be like the Mario games before I played them (cutesy, but sometimes shockingly hard) but they're not. They're way more accessible and EEEEeeee funs! I play as little Lego!Vader a lot. Wandering around finding minions lack of faith disturbing, choking people with force powers. *my laugh is an evil laugh*

...You know, I'm totally going to be cranky if we don't get crossover fic soon. It'd just be too perfect.

Stop trying to convince me, it won't work. ...what platforms is it available on?

From: [identity profile] eido.livejournal.com

Hell, I'd write it myself if I had a modicum of talent.

LSW 1 & 2 are available on all of them (they were made for the PS2, XBox and Gamecube, but since all the next gen consoles are backwards compatible, you can play them on those as well) and PC. Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (http://www.gamespot.com/wii/action/legostarwarscompletesaga/index.html) is the new one and it's next gen only (PS3, XBox360 or Wii). All it is is LSW 1 & 2 combined with slightly prettier graphics, although if you've got a next gen console, it's probably easier to find at Blockbuster nowadays. They've probably got a few copies of it for all the new consoles, but you could probably still find LSW 1 & 2 since they were really popular and they haven't phased out the last gen stuff completely yet. I know they still have them in my local rental places.
