Well, it is pretty fun, but "brain candy" is a pretty accurate term for it really. It's been a while since I saw the first, but from what I recall this one has less clues and deducting (though it does have some pretty decent scheming and plotting going on between Holmes and Moriarty) and a lot more action scenes of the pretty but not needing to be that long type.
I liked the first, and still thought this was decent, but if you weren't a fan of the first... maybe go if you can get discount tickets or something (Or a friend pays for your ticket). I don't think it's worth full price if you didn't like the first.
