I won the Shiny Hat, hurrah! Of course, I did get some competition, and ending up sniping someone for it at the very last minute. Mwahaha.

Now I just need to work out payment, since PayPal doesn't like me for some odd reason.

In other news, the Americanos just saw PotW. And so there is much wailing of the loss of Nine. I find it all really very funny, actually.

Of course, this is most likely because when I saw that episode I had no idea there was a regeneration at all, not being involved in fandom then, and so my response had been more along the lines of, "...WHAT?" (Though I was familiar with the concept of regeneration). But I didn't find it at all upsetting or anything, and so all the wailinga nd flailing and all just strikes me as slightly silly.

And I find silly so highly mockable.

Still, it's entertainment.

Aww, you're so mean, teehee. I think it's quite sweet, really. They're exactly where I was 8 months or so ago.

It might be mean, but it's because I never had that reaction, and so it boggles me somewhat. I don't understand it on an emotional level, so I find it difficult to sympathise.

And you aren't the first to say so. And I have that red and black silk skirt, too... *ponders*

Well, not mean mean, just fun giggly mean. If you know what I mean. Snerk. And also I've not gone looking for reactions beyond a couple of posts in dw_america, so I've not seen anything that was really overblown. TWoP forums are bad, are they?

Ah, the good kind of mean. And TWoP is more fangirl type reactions covered in insufferable pretention. Though I think I find them more amusing than the really are, since their shipper thread is the greatest case of missing the point of the series I have ever seen. (They all firmly believe Rose is going to have some great grand destiny, and hate on TGitF and Ten for not worshipping at the Altar Of Rose) Since I am so amused by that forum as a whole, I find even the smallest things their amusing now.

Though as I pointed out to someone else, the best reactions I have found were from randomly looking through other people's flists, and just finding reactions from people I had never heard of before.
