ZOMG! [livejournal.com profile] deu_sex_machina is back, and calling for new fics to be sporked! *is full of flaily goodness*

Also, I've heard some (very, very minor) spoilers for Fear Her. I think I may be rather looking forward to this episode.

In any case, the nest two eps both look like they are going to get certain different sections of fandom in an uproar. Hurrah! (My new fandom motto: Bring on the backlash)

I'm just disappointed they didn't spork the Draco trilogy. If ever something could use a hearty sporking, it'd be that.

Dare I ask?

It doesn't include dragon's milk, I hope? *crosses fingers in a desperate fashion.*

Not porny, just an incredibly cliche epic romance thing, with heirs of founders, everyone being devastatingly attractive, hugely powerful sex gods. Complete with gratuitous (and non-credited) quotes from heaps of other fandoms, and the beginnings of LeatherPants!Draco.

The Draco Trilogy would have been good, but it is a monster of epic proportions. No one could get through that and survive with their sanity intact.

I liked it when I started reading it, but I was 14 and was only just getting into fanfic. Also, I thought gratuitously ripping off quotes was cool (if only because I loved that I knew where all the Buffy ones were from)

Wow, someone else who liked it. *grin* I was fifteen, and that was my first rec ever. My introduction into fandom, as it were.

And I like a little mindmeld every now and then. I just wish it had stayed with that idea, and not turned... epic. (I recognised some of the Pratchett paraphrasal, missed the Buffy)

It's good as an introduction to fandom, as it's very quotable, and if you are into other things, the quotes and paraphrasing can be comforting. Doesn't stop from cringing a bit when I look back at all the incredible cliches, and Sueness of pretty much everyone in it.

I haven't looked back on it because I am afraid to do so. *sheepish*
