People are doing that "Nine is better than Ten" thing again. It makes me want to cry.
Must I point them to the Chocolate Theory? Just because you like something more, doesn't make it better.
And now I am going to sleep and hope the universe is nicer when I wake up.

I'm just ever so slightly leaning towards other fandoms until some of it blows over.

I think it was the three pronged attack that got to me. I'd have been fine if it was one site, but three at once just got to me.

(Why the bashing? Dismiss the writers, or the actor... but saying "this Doctor sucks" is just weird.)

I like your theory in the idea of we all like chocolate, just prefer some kinds more but frankly I don't think you can make everyone think the some way, especially since some people just won't like the entire concept of chocolate and do have deep preferences (see: the widespread hate for Six who I haven't seen yet, am just using as an example). Some people are going to dislike Ten and prefer Nine and use the language of 'better' because they honestly see it that way; it's just the way it goes. You have to learn to ignore it, hon.

And I'm not trying to change what people think. It's just that there is a very important difference between "I prefer..." and "...is better". I try never to use "...is better" because I am entirely aware that it is just personal preference. The fact someone believes something doesn't necessarily make it true.
