So today I had two of my friends ask me what colour my hair used to be, because they had never seen it as anything other than blonde (or purple). That's just freaky. I mean, December isn't really that long ago, is it?

In other news, I have some photographicness.

As I have mentioned in passing, on Saturday I went on a bit of a shopping expedition. As well as picking up my external hard drive (final name still pending), a couple of books from Minotaur and some shiny shiny (and massively reduced) clothes from Miss Shop, I also spent quite a bit of time at the Vic Market.

I mean, you can't help but love the Market, what with it's insanely cheap shiny cool things, and entertaining cheap rubbish.

And at the market, I ended up getting my lovely new jacket. Which, in a moment where I plunge the depths of fangirldom, is shall we say inspired by a certain recent publicity shot.

Plz be ignoring the weird face I am pulling.

This one's a bit blurry, not sure why.

Oh, and something random that I couldn't not take a picture of:

Aromatherapy socks. Whatever will they think of next?

That's my jacket! Give it back! *g*

And why would you think of MsScribe when seeing armoatherapy soks? What are armoatherapy socks??

Mwahaha! And so forth.

MsScribe? You know, her of a million sock-puppets? I'm not sure what aromatherapy socks are either, mind.

Ah, okay, I was too mesmerized by the aromatherapy socks to remember I was looking at... well, socks. I wonder if they come in cheese armoa *shudders*

See? That's the sort of skirt I'd have liked to have seen Martha wearing. Not that colour, though, probably. It sorta clashes with the jacket :-)

And if the skirt wasn't practical(for Martha), I'd have liked to have seen a slightly different cut jacket, a model that falls down to the thighs or so. It could still have been red leather...

You look good.

Who has been spending far too long thinking about what bothered her about the way Martha was dressed.

The colour works better if you can see my stockings - the have stripes in burgundy (like the jacket), teal (like the skirt), and purple (like my top under the jacket). Yes, I like to colour co-ordinate.

Martha's outfit looks a little more practical than mine, mind.

Re: the colours. I suspected that might be the case. :-) I still think that, block-on-block, the teal clashes a bit too much with the burgundy, though. But, you know, personal opinion from the other side of the world and all that...

Martha's outfit is a lot more practical than yours, yes. But it bothered me that I could see too many similarities between what she was wearing and what Rose was regularly dressed in. (Despite the fact that, all things considered, the clothes aren't alike at all). I think it's because they're both from the same part of the fashion spectrum, with Martha just dressing a bit more expensively.

I'd have liked to have seem something from a different part of the spectrum, hence my wish for a skirt, or a longer cut jacket. Fashion is so individualistic these days that it's a bit of a pity to see two people with wildly different backgrounds dress so similarly. (Obviously it's because they're dressed by the same costume designer, but still.)

Ah well, I guess we'll see.

It's why the jacket can be unzipped and all.

On the subject of similar clothes, and the differences you would like to see, have you seen the on location shots? Any thoughts on them?

I have seen those, as a matter of fact, and it's a definite improvement in the ways I meant, certainly. Not so happy with that hairstyle, though.

Yes, yes, complaining. complaining. I'm a bit bored, had you noticed? :-)

Chavvy 'ho!!!!

(I'm joking, I'm joking!)

In the name of science I reckon you should invest in some aromatherapy socks, justto see what they do.

Awesome!! Very nice jacket. I actually really like your hat, but I'm weird.

And the Vic Market is very much love, but I haven't been there for ages.

I like my hat, too. And I'm a hat person, so I have quite a few nice hats about.

I hadn't been for a while, either.
