Not having bothered gotten around to signing up at OG, (and I still have cross-fandom cognitive dissonance with that one on account of having been in Phantom fandom far too long), I dunno what you're arguing about. But I'm not sure it matters.

Seriously, someone that determined to disregard anyone else's position? Isn't going to have that gotten through to him. Like, ever.

My guess would be you've done what you can to demonstrate that for third parties viewing the discussion, and all that's left is to move on. {{ sympathy }} Life on Teh Intarwebs.

Looking through the thread, it seems pretty clear that no amount of reasoning is ever going to work with that poster. They want to believe their version of events is the only possible interpretation, and everyone else is just deluding themselves. Personally, I'd say give up on them and find someone more reasonable to talk to. People like that are only going to lead to frustration.

What a moron. And a delusional one at that, if he really believes what he's written. I love his presumptions about needing other engineers and electricians to set up the base especially. Yeah, because there was all this narrative about that in the episode. He obviously missed the bit where the Doctor tells Rose that the base was basically a standard module kit for the time. Arsewipe.

I also love his timeline. The planet was MUCH closer to the black hole than the rocket since it had already slipped a bit closer in its orbit once, and Rose and Co. had nearly escaped from the singularity's gravity in the rocket by the time the Doc smashed the urns. Because of course, when the Doc found the TARDIS, he threw open the doors and blinked and Apparated away. He obviously wouldn't have had to do anything mundane and time consuming like, oh, programming where he wanted it to go. And then of course, he merely blinked again and Ida was beamed on board. Why bother with the time it would take for him to go out and lift her unconscious body and carry her back on board? After all, he's in a completely reliable time machine. *snort*

There's no sense arguing with him. I think he's purposely trying to rile you and witchiepoo and the others.
