The Doctor awoke in his bed with a jolt. He was drenched in sweat, and his hearts were beating wildly in his head.

It was that same nightmare again. The one where Rose ended up with him. Throughout all time and space, for eternity.

With a grunt, he snuggled back up in bed, mentally making a point to give himself a proper little mindwipe in the morning.

And he lived happily ever after.
