Am back from Queensland, and getting one night off being busy before the Discworld con. Shall post a better description of the trip - and do a photopost - once I get broadband back. Which may be a while, since altheas was a fucking bastard, and disconnected the iPartment phone. Wanker.

I have not given Telstra instructions to disconnect the phone from the iPartment. There's no point, absolutely no profit in it for me. It just creates far more hassle than it's worth, at least give me enough credit that I would realize that fact whilst hating me.

I had instructed the ISP to bundle my new broadband account with a phone connection, since it's more cost-effective. This has been followed up now as much as Telstra's working hours will allow, and will be ringing them in the morning since I am quite interested in finding out what is going.

To be honest, I have no problem with being a bastard, however do my best only to do so when there is some benefit arising from it. Ask your brother about that, if a sane person sues someone 'just because'? Think about it, would I disconnect a phone connection 'just because' and not expect to be paying for it to be reconnected? Awful lot of loss going there, with precious little gain.
