I'm trying to work out if I want to get a permanent account of not. On one hand, it's, you know, going to cost money.

On the other, it means never having to pay for my LJ ever again. And having maximum icons, which would be fun. And a whole lot of bonus features that I never use.

But it's mostly the never having to pay for it again + maximum icons that interests me.

I just got one myself. Mostly because I regretted not doing it two years ago. But I do worry I might get tired of using lj and I've just wasted a ton of money.

But then again, I've wasted nearly as much at a chain retail store on total shit, so this might be okay too.

Get it! The benefits outweigh anything else!

Iris calculated that I'd have to use LJ for 7.5 years for it to cost teh same as the lifetime membership. I really don't know if I'll still have time for blogging in 7 years time!

I wished I'd been able to get it the last time they had it. This time, I had a credit card. You can probably see the logical progression from here.
