I don't believe in New Year's Resolutions. I believe in memes.

Everyone else on my flist seems to be posting all their resolutions. Well, just to buck the trend, I won't.

Because personally, I think New Year's Resolutions are a stupid idea. If you want to change your life, why wait for a new year? Change now.

Change because you want to, not because everyone else is, or it is the done thing, or you feel you ought to. It doesn't take a new year to start a new life.

So, instead of ye olde cliche, I bring on a few memes.

Which are equally cliche, but mean about as much in the long term.

"In 2006 drakyndra will have an unfortunate accident involving a Doctor Who action figure, John Howard's car and a vat of glittery pink haircolour. The incident will make BBC's 'In Other News' and spawn a whole new line of Aussie jokes involving John Howard action. The rest of the year, drakyndra will spend all the money earned on interview rights on a ridiculous amount of Doctor Who stuff and exprimental haircare."
