The Macro and the Micro

So, Howard has finally gone and called the election (For November 24th, to be precise). It's about damned time, really.

At least that means we know when the whole thing will be over and done with.

In other news, I seem to be attracting randoms on FaceBook. By which I mean I seem to be currently getting a number of messages, comments, pokes and friend requests from a whole lot of people who I've never freaking heard of.

It is exceedingly random. Especially given some of the messages I'm getting...

Heh. Facebook is weird - I keep getting nudged by people I don't know at all, but it's weirder when you get a friend request from someone you haven't seen since primary school. The sad thing is that in some cases there's a very good reason why you haven't stayed in touch.

A lot of people do it just to make themselves look really popular with their friends. That, at least, is the only way I can explain some of my random friend requests.

I haven't had anyone of quite that length of time. Though I have had some secondary school girl whom I was only vaguely acquainted seemingly decide I am now her bestest friend ever.
