So, those last couple of days have gone quickly. And the next three before I fly off into the wild blue yonder shall go even quicker, I expect.

Still, a summary of the last couple of days:

Monday

- Handed in my final assignment for the year. And lo, that was the end of Uni! Now I just need to wait for results.
- Also went and sorted out my subjects for next year, and general re-enrolment. Subjects are, well, subject to change depending on results and timetabling and all, but since they need to be in by the end of the week, it was handy to have done.
- Got phone set up for International roaming, which should be working now. Yes, you may be able to contact me in Thailand. Though I shall only send texts back, 'cos it's cheaper.
- Then found fa11ing_away, and headed down to a survey place thing in Southbank, in which we answered questions about advertising and got paid for it.
Sixty dollars, in fact. Whoo, free money!
- And then we had dumplings, and went to JB Hi-Fi. I bought the DVD of Hot Fuzz, because it is made of win and on special.
- Oh, and the day's weather could be pretty much summed up by this comment of fa11ing_away's: When the Yarra river starts looking tempting, you know it's hot. (37.6 degrees. WTF, weather, WTF? It's not even summer yet!)

Tuesday

- Caught up on my sleep.
- Bought some sunglasses with actual UV protective value. They have very shiny reflective lenses.
- Also brought sunglasses with yellow glass lenses. Which have no UV protective value, but look very cool.
- Discovered there were no movies worth watching in cinemas right now.
- Watched the final episode of Sarah Jane Adventures instead.

Today

- Erm, I listened to music, and did laundry.
Which is vitally important I'll have you know, since I'll need clean underwear in Thailand!
- Lolled over the fact there was yet another new update to the Lexicon wank

And to do tomorrow

- Purchase a new hairbrush, comb, and some roll-on deodorant.

My father refuses to schedule a direct transfer into my account, because he likes to control me that way. My free money appears on the kitchen table every weekend, so it still feels rather free.

One can never have too much free money, though.

Given my parents live more than 4 hours away, that ain't exactly an option for me. So I get the account transfer - or rather, I get a lump sum each year, and then have to budget it out for the entire year.

That said, I think I did a decent job since I've only used just over half what I was given this year and the year's almost over...

Wow, I am ultra-impressed. I spend all my money on games and books and CDs and never manage to save anything these days. -_- I used to be good at saving.

That sounds a lot better than it actually is, since it's a rather decent amount which I get each year. I still spend far too much on clothing (and books, and DVDs...)

I tend to spend too much on T-shirts. Apart from that, I don't buy clothes - I'd rather stick to my hand-me-downs and second-hands and spend money on games instead. *drools*

I do tend to buy a lot of second hand stuff. But I still have probably far too many clothes for one person. It's not my fault, I just can't bare to get rid of anything, and it's all so lovely...

Oh, I have too many clothes for one person anyway, because my sister buys tons of clothes and I get her hand-me-downs. Only problem is they often don't quite fit. But I suspect I have a minor obsession with T-shirts, which would explain why they're filling two shelves in my wardrobe and spilling out all the time because I can't stuff them all in...

Skirts are what I do not have a lot of - I have three skirts, all old ones of my sister's, and all long and black and only used for violin/orchestra concerts. :D

My mother tells me every summer I should wear skirts (or even dresses). I'm not convinced: I'd look terrible (well, even more terrible than I do already), and in any case I don't own skirts. Plus they wouldn't go with my T-shirts.

I based my "Geometric-sama, the Manly Man of Steel" persona on Roy Mustang and his love for miniskirts.

It really depends on the skirt (and the t-shirt, for that matter). But I suppose it's better to just wear what you are comfortable in.

I suspect I wouldn't be too bothered about wearing a skirt - depending on the skirt, of course - but I have a reputation to keep up. I haven't worn a dress or skirt for anything other than school uniform or concerts since primary school.

Roy is awesome. I need to make more FmA icons; I haven't done any in ages. Maybe I'll icon that episode. :D

See, I'm almost the other way - I almost always wear skirts or dresses. Well, when I'm not wearing jeans, that is.

The thing about FMA is that pretty much all the characters are awesome. Even the really, really minor ones. Which is possibly why I love it so...

I pretty much live in jeans these days. It used to be cargo pants, I'm not sure when it changed. I'm not looking forward to summer, I look terrible in shorts.

I used to have other FmA icons, but removed them in favour of more AIR and Kanon icons. I fangirl Key far too much.

This reminds me, I really should get hold of the FmA OVAs and watch those... I haven't watched anything since the movie.

I do not own shorts! Well, except my boardies, and I only wear those for swimming. Thus, I live in skirts and dresses come summer.

I have mostly Doctor Who icons, with a few random ones from some of my other fandoms. It changes depending on what shiny new things I take interest in.

I own plenty of shorts, I just look terrible in them, same as everything else. Perhaps we should try and get you into shorts and take photos.

I dislike Doctor Who (mainly because my brother is obsessed with it), so my Dalek icon is my only DW icon. I want to marry a Dalek. ♥

They probably are, but I have (a) dialup and (b) something against watching anime in terrible quality. XD

DW just isn't my style, and having a younger brother who obsesses all the time and writes creepy blog posts about it (http://cyril-washbrook.livejournal.com/4916.html) (I mean, the kid was 15 at the time! He's crazy) probably doesn't help. :3

Daleks, on the other hand, are adorable pepperpots that float around killing things and saying "EXTERMINATE! DESTROY!" How could you not love them? ♥ They're so much better than boys. I want to meet your Daleks. :x
