UNEXPECTED POPULARITY!

So, in like the last two days, I seem to have been friended by half a dozen people. Two I friended first, so this doesn't count, but for the rest of you:

Just who are you guys, and why are you friending me?

I'm not opposed per se, I'm just mildly puzzled by the sudden rush of friending. Did I sign up to a friending meme in my sleep or something?

I suppose my depressingness depends on how I feel about the show. Which is mostly love, though I am... less than fond of Rose, so I may get a bit snarky at anything related to her.

Anyone who is generally positive, or at least wants to love the show, are aces. I'm too new to do anything but flail and squee right now, but so many people are bitter and it makes me sad! I do like Rose, but I like just about everybody. And find them all eminently snarkable at one point or another. Mostly I just love Donna liek whoa.

Anyway, I like reading episode reviews that aren't long screeds of hate against , and yours fit the bill!

Personally, I'm a great big Martha fan (and Mickey), but Donna looks to be rather fun.

And on the whole, I tend to be mostly positive towards the show at large (particularly when, as with the most recent ep, they seems to have put effort into fixing mistakes in the past - ie. the Doctor acknowledging he wasn't as good to Martha as he should have been).

It's the fandom that gets my heckles up, particularly when it tries to make things All About Rose. (Martha didn't deserve it last series, and Donna doesn't now)

I keep trying to add people where I find that I really like what they have to say for themselves. I can't remember the exact trigger point(s), but I do remember within the last day or so saying to myself, "You know, I really need to add drakyndra to my friend's list."

Although a friend of mine hates cats, and she thinks there's something wrong with me because I love cats and dogs equally. Apparently, this just Does Not Happen.

I will admit I'm a very definite cat person, and am not the biggest dog fan. But little puppies are utterly adorable.

I love dogs! I especially love my dogs, I go horrendously and pathetically gooey when I see my dogs. Especially because one of them in particular is always *so* happy to see us and needs to be next to one of us at all time, it's quite sweet.

Maybe it's a baby animal thing...because most baby animals are far, far too cute for words. Like baby seals or baby polar bears...I want one!
