Oh, ack.

It appears that I am sick. I came to this conclusion after noting that rather than getting better, my sore throat (which I thought was just from screaming at the Foo Fighters concert) was actually getting worse. And then I got a runny nose. And started shivering all the time. And generally feeling like I was about to fall over.

So now I am attempting not to OD on Butter Menthols and Strepsils. And generally feeling rather blah, which is not fun at all.

On a randomly related note, what are the normal requirements for getting an assignment extension due to illness? It's not exactly desperate, but I was going to work on it during this week, and I doubt I'll be very productive feeling as icky as I do right now.

Ta for that. Now, when can one find get a Doctor to write the certificate at somewhat short notice (ie. preferably Thursday. Or tomorrow.)

Feel better soon! I used my Sally Sparrow icon because of your Billy mood theme.

Interestingly enough, during my lunchtime with CHAS today we actually watched Blink.

I hadn't seen it in a while - I'd forgotten how good it was. Though it loses it's impact when the room is so loud you need subtitles to know what the characters are saying.

*apparently has no Blink icons*

*sends you a Doctor*
Drop an email to your lecturer now, then follow it up with a Doctor's note and you should be okay. You never know, you could be feeling more chipper towards the end of the week.

I hope it's a Doctor, capital D. Though I wouldn't say no to a Doctor M. Jones.

I have the forms and stuff. It's just a matter of whether or not they actually give me an extension or not. Which... is variable.

Sometimes the lecturers want yout to apply for special consideration, sometimes not. The earlier you ask for an extension, the better, is what I've found. Mayb ask your tutor first, because even though it may say you have to ask your lecturer, most of the time I've found the tutors can give out extensions as well, and are more likely to be understanding.

(Eee! I sound like an expert - I swear, I don't ask for extensions THAT often...)

Anyway, hope you get better very soon!

Well, it's a week off, and if I drop into the Uni Health Service tomorrow, I should have the forms in by tomorrow afternoon.

No-one's responded to my emails, though, which is bugging me.
