I confess that I'm looking at buying the book of the Indy 4 film since I can't afford to go and see the film (it's jolly expensive where I live and Amazon's got the book cheap) - and fic may ensue from me as well eventually. (I've been wanting to write Martha meets Indy for months anyway just because they're both "Doctor Jones" !)

because I am an unashamed fan and to hell with the haters, and it cost me more than it did to see the movie twice. Admittedly, I got the book from an expensive store, and saw the movie on discounted tickets, but...It's possibly not the best thing to rely on for canon, though. It's based on the script rather than the film, so there's a bunch of deleted scenes (some I hope show up on the DVD), and some of the scenes themselves are altered. It misses a few of my favourite little things, too.
