You know, I totally get that lots of people go out on a Friday night to get drunk. I may have even done so on occasion meself.

But being totally off your face by 8PM. Really?

I mean, the two girls were more amusing than anything else. And they complimented me on my shoes, which always gets people on my good side.

But standing in line at the takeaway joint right behind some guy who was practically falling over and talking at the top of his freaking voice was just irritating.

...Eh. I am inexplicably grumpy today. Everyone, feel free to spam the comments with things of joy and squee, no matter what they are. I want the grumpy to go away.

My squee is that my summer class is over! I took the final yesterday and turned in the last assignment and I'm done!

Now I have 24 days of freedom before fall classes! SQUEE!

On the plus side, if you get trashed ridiculously early, you don't need to worry about how you're getting home, as long as you can toddle to a tram stop (preferably to the right tram to take you home).
Also, if something of a more dramatic nature happens before 10pm, you can hoik up to the after hours doc's on Sydney Rd instead of going to the emergency ward and saying Hi to Tris.
And, you also have longer to sleep the hangover off. Pass out at 7pm, 12 hours sleep later and you're right for the next day. Sort of.
Oh! And if you pass out early, you can recover and keep going later in the night, providing that there's anyone still going.
