And the blah-iness is gone. It has been replaced by sugar induced insanity! Yay for North Court, in which at lunch time today I managed to get not only two lots of fairy-floss free (w00t for fairy-floss! It is Teh Love!) but also some pancakes with lemon and sugar also free! The pancakes were from a *cough* Religious Group *cough*, so I'm pretending it didn't actually happen. Also in said pancake line, I discovered a new person to add to my Hate List. Said person was some idiot far-too-blonde-for-her-own-good girl, who thought she could push in to the front of the line, after the rest of us had been waiting for ten minutes!!! And she was all "Oh, they won't worry, because it's me." Bitch.

Blonde-Girl must die.

But again, yay for lack of blah-ness! Today's Official Random Thing (tm): Wave/Particle Slash. Respect.

Oh, and some of you may be aware, I desperately want to go to the big Premiere of Episode 3 next week. You can't get tickets for the Midnight session - sold out - but there is one at 20 past Midnight, for which there are still tickets available. And I would love to go, but it would be more fun as a group. Anyone want to join me?

If no-one does, I may just tur up to one of the morning sessions before Uni next Thursday - there's hardly anyone at those.

Random Quotes:

(Second Floor)
"I'm hearing rumours."
"About what?"
"Paranoia."

(Programming)
Lecturer: "See, I get really excited about trees."
When you look back at some of the other things he has gotten excited over, you really start to worry...

Random Psych Quotes:
"This is one of my baby daughter's socks. I found it on the corner of Lygon Street and Princes Highway."

And written on a slide, with a picture from some guy on Law & Order
"If I have to be in this lecture, I might as well be plugging Law & Order."

I suffer from pancake love - which reminds me, set my alarm so I wake up early enough tomorrow to have some. Mmm, pancake Thursday.

LOL! At the Ep. 3 comment - I should so do that. Though it might help if I actually had Jedi robes. *ponders* Know any Costume shops near the city?

And no, I have not yet read The Golem's Eye.

You could borrow my copy, maybe - I'll be at Melbourne Uni on the 29th for a Chem thing. Or will you be at home that weekend for your birthday?

From: [identity profile] drakyndra.livejournal.com

Nope, not going home for my birthday. My Mum will be in Melbourne for her flight to the US, though (if nothing happens to change the plans)

Ooh, I could see you then. But isn't that a Sunday?

You bet - but it doesn't bother me.

I'm in a lecture-type thing in the Redmond (or was it Raymond?) Barry Building until about 12.45, and I'd be able to hand around for a short time afterwards.

It's the Redmond Barry Building - if that's the one you are talking about. There is also a Richard Berry Building and a Raymond Priestley Building on campus, so it gets a little confusing on occasion.

12.45 then? Do you know which lecture theatre in the building it is? Cos then I'll know which door to lurk around.

I don't know for sure, but if the previous one I went to was any indication, it was on the ground floor near a coke machine.

And it's Redmond - I'm positive.

I don't like that machine - it's rigged so that the 600mL bottles don't easily fit through the hatch.
