Meh. I have discovered the secret to not spending too much money while shopping: ensure you are really tired when you start, and then lots of time walking around. Eventually, you get so blah feeling that al you want to do is lie down. And thus, the money is restored.

Oh! I also found that one of the cafes near the Queen Vic Market wants someone in to work. And the manager of the place is really nice, so tomorrow I shall be heading down there with a resume to see what can be arranged. However, if I do get a job somewhere, that leaves me with one big question for my parents: what am I supposed to do over the mid-year break?

My Plans for tomorrow:
- Meet up with [livejournal.com profile] aeque at Uni
- Take Resume to the cafe
- Do laundry

Yes, my life is very thrilling right now.

Awww, the young 'uns are meeting up again.

Er, you are going to talk to each other this time? Or do I have to send Rob again?

Um, Rob...tall, skinny English guy...met [livejournal.com profile] aeque at the Melbourne signing...refused to give us the name of the Kettle...that Rob.

And gave me the fright of my life...

But we didn't have time to talk last time - Melissa was off to see a musical of some sort, I think.

Yep, I was going to see The Producers. Which was very funny, as I recall.

Speaking of funny, I thought you might like this comic:

And that was my last post for a little while.

Yeah, I saw that one in the Sun. It was very cute.

But then, I love Heart of the City.

It's good, but I like Pooch Cafe more.

And the past week of Foxtrot has been full of Star Wars references - you can read it on ucomics.com.

Well, I also quite like Foxtrot. The vaguely geeky comics always appeal to me.
