Just a short break from all my Star Wars obsessing to jump over into another fandom for a little while.

Any way, it is now precisely 2 months until the next Harry Potter book is out. Again, there is mondo excitement, and I have decided I cannot be any more of a fangirl - seriously, this is my Year of Fandom Wonderfulness or something.

In honour of this occasion, I have decided to inform the world about a rather amusing LJ community - or user, rather - that I have recently stumbled across. As some people may have noticed, I love all those badfic mockery things - I find them too funny for words. Well here's one with a difference: deu_sex_machina.

This happens to be the home of some utterly hysterical fic MSTs, starring the (canon) HP trio, and assorted other cameo roles. It also happens to be the funniest thing ever. Not only does it give a good sporking to fic, but the fics and authors they have chosen are not the typical Mary-Sue ff.net badfic rubbish. Oh No. Here, they spork the BNF (Big Name Fans), with fics like Pawn to Queen, and authors like Aja, and *gasp* Cassie Claire getting a well deserved thrashing.

I almost died laughing.

Oh, and I just noticed, but there is a guy in my Programming tute that looks just like Harry Potter - or Daniel Radcliffe at least. Rather unnerving, actually.

I had guessed as much. And do you know of a website so I can store my pictures online? That way I can show all the icons I've pinched off people, including the iSnape one.
