My God.

I am utterly astounded at the number of different types of vegetarian meals airlines apparently have on offer. And that's just talking about different types of vegetarian meals. Looking at all the other meals on offer... O_O

_{And I just wanted to know what sorts of meals were available because I got grumbly about not having cheese or cakes or anything in the vegan meal on the Egypt trip.}

Sometimes the world truly astounds me. I am not sure if this is a good or a bad thing.

And yes, in response to your comment over at Yami's place, you would know me via friendsfriends. I'd still be happy to help (anything for a fellow Code Geass fan who's visiting! Oh boy am I biased), especially in the places-to-eat department. FOOD. WE LOVE FOOD.
We could also make a move from the friendsfriends to the f-list if you want though, based on the simple common interests of SuzaLulu, SuzaKallen and Yami's writing ;D

YES, I'D LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT FOOD! Places to eat are always are always nice (I got bored of eating in the same place for a week straight in Thailand). Also: shopping. Because you should know how to avoid ridiculously overpriced tourist places, and it's three women on a holiday. There Will Be Shopping.

Friendage in new fandoms is always a good thing. And I highly approve of those common interests.

(I may have to put this conversation on hold for an hour or two, whilst I deal with, um, going home. Oh, public transport...)

Ah I just figured out that you're vegetarian. That's a bit of a pity; most of the stuff we're famous for contains some meat or lard ^^ I could ask some of my vegetarian friends for their recommendations though!
YES SHOPPING 8D I can give you a list of places to try nearer to the date - Orchard road is packed with stuff but THAT's the tourist place you want to avoid (unless you're going for big expensive brands like Prada). If you're in the area in late November you might also want to make time for the Anime convention that'll be on during the weekend - on Nov 21 and 22.

Yeah, the vegetarian thing does tend to limit options.

I only go get stuff from the big expensive brands when they aren't actually that expensive. LOL knockoffs Alas, but we fly out on the November 29th. I'm a week too late for the con. ;_;
