Congratulate me, O Flist, for I have discovered the most irritating sound in the world!

It is that horrible beeping noise mobile phones make when their battery is running low and they need to be recharged.

Particularly when:
A) It's not coming from my phone;
B) It's not coming from The HouseMatt's phone;
C) It is coming from somewhere in the iPartment; and
D) I can't work out where in the iPartment it is coming from.

Yes, I am being haunted by a ghostly mobile phone (with a low battery). Don't ghosts have chargers these days?

I wonder how much longer I can last before I go completely bonkers and start drawing on the walls

Smoke alarm battery, maybe? I hope you work it out -- very annoying.

It's a possibility, but I swear someone came to check it only a couple of weeks back.

Also, I am now being lazy and listening to music so I can't hear it, and it might have stopped.

That is the most annoying sound ever. I actually wrote a piece for Creative Writing based on how annoying it was. I hope you find and crush the source soon!

I take no responsibility for my actions in the event that I actually find the damned thing.

But it's nice to know I am not alone in this opinion.

Urgh. I have convinced mine not to beep, so instead it vibrates vengefully at me. It does not seem to understand that this is counterprouctive.

Phones are stupid. And possibly possesed.

Well, I can deal with it well enough when it is my phone.

This, however, was not my phone. Hence the annoyance.

I turned on the music in my room so I didn't have to hear it, and now it seems to have gone. It might have died, or my other housemate did something when he came home.

Hee. I wonder was it in another apartment? We had a neigbour with the most annoying alarm in the world and I blamed A for it for ages.

It's possible, but I'm not sure how likely (IDK if anyone is even in the other Unit on this landing)

Could it have fallen out of someone's pocket and down the side of the sofa?
