Look what you have done, Arakawa! You've made me commit fic - well, drabble - for the first time in four years. I hope you are proud of yourself.

Summary: Alphonse Elric, and the truth.
Knowledge
Out there, in the world, the battle is still raging on. People are fighting for their lives, for their future.
But here...
Here it is silent.
A featureless white void stretching out into forever, marred only by giant grey doors, and two small figures.
The inscrutable face of Truth gazes silently at Alphonse Elric, who calmly looks back, smiling serenely.
Because despite the Truth's mocking words before, despite the ongoing battle, despite the fact that Alphonse has no way of knowing what is happening to anyone else...
Alphonse Elric knows the real truth.
His brother will never let him down.

Although I regret not being able to fully appreciate it just yet because alas I am unfamiliar with FMA. But ♥ anyway.

I think it's marvellous, but it's my favourite manga (and literally the fandom that got me into anime). I may be biased.
Manga ends next month. One chapter to go. The second anime, which follows the manga, ends a couple of weeks later.
