So, I Do Not Like the thing where online applications decide they want you to write little essays about past experiences. (I mean, significant leadership experience in the past 5 years, what am I supposed to describe for that? Bleh. Suggestions are entirely appreciated, of course. But I don't think they really want to hear about modding LJ comms.)

I could email the damn thing if I didn't have that one last section to complete. *mumble grumble*

...Exciting, isn't my life?

Anyway, I finished I Shall Wear Midnight - but apparently no-one else has, so I haven't anywhere to talk about it yet. And I want to talk about it, too!

In other news, tomorrow my sister is holding a dinner party for her birthday, which should be interesting. I'm not sure if I've ever eaten food she's cooked before.

Oh, and in fannish news, [livejournal.com profile] yinake posted the first chapter of her Suzaku/C.C. thing she has written, which she has dedicated to me. D'awww. ♥

It's not "modding LJ comms" it's "organizing and maintaining discussion groups on ____" :D

(Yeah, I had to do that one too. Ugh.)

Yes, but I have to write 200 words about it. The vague business speak would probably get tedious very fast.

Ouch. Yeah. I only had to reword enough material to answer a phone interview question, which was easier.

OMG I hate that. Face to face questions like that are worse- I always use the vaguest words possible about "group projects" and such.

It's just ARGH! Most of the stuff to fill in is ordinary stuff like Uni results and past jobs. And then there's this one page of little essay questions that are just ick.

(The also ask if I've gotten any awards or scholarships in the past 5 years. LOL, no.)

I was asked once if I did any sports during an interview. *is massively unathletic* That was definitely a moment where I stretched the truth (sometimes, very rarely, me and my friends play basketball) a bit.

And awards too, lol. Yeah sorry, just another average student here.

They ask that, too.

...The thing is, if they'd asked that just after I'd got out of school, I would have had a whole list of stuff. Ballet, other dance, Netball, Athletics Team, Badminton at Geelong (Though I kind of sucked at that). I've just become kind of lazy once I hit Uni. Though at least my involvement in student clubs gives me something to talk up.

I was also a scholarship student. Oh, back in the day...

Actually, Modding LJ Comms isn't a bad one. It's different unique, and if you've ever had to play mediator between two fans who believe that their interpretation of text is accurate, then you've got something to talk about...

Yes, but the trick is trying to make it sound somewhat serious. Oh, wording...
