Anyone got any interesting stories from teh storm?
I've been trawling Twitter for a bit, and it currently seems to be the main topic of conversation in the local vicinity. Along with pandas, for some reason.

The other thing I've picked up from Twitter is that Andrew Bolt was found guilty of racial discrimination. How shocking.

Nothing really interesting, no. But a while ago I remember sitting in my room and saying to myself, well, it seems to have temporarily stopped raining, and I've still got power. Ten seconds later... yeah. Power did come back on about 45 minutes ago which is good, as I'm home alone and have no idea how to turn it back on manually.

I also just checked the BoM radar, and it looks pretty clear out to the west, so it'll probably have passed over by about nine tonight, at a random guess.

Yeah, I am not sure what I'd do here if the power went.

I thought it was all over earlier - it was still raining, but the thunder had stopped and I hadn't seen much lightning. Then the thunder came back.
