There are some things that once seen, cannot be unseen. That defy comprehension of the rational mind. That there are no words that could possibly describe adequately.

William Shatner's cover of Bohemian Rhapsody is one of them.

Yeah, I think my brain is broken now.

In order to (try and) wash that out of your poor scarred minds, try this blog dedicated to nitpicking what is written on blackboards in porn (SFW) or these pretty, pretty jelly shots. Or "jello", if you are American.

Even delicious jelly shots weren't enough to save my poor brain from Captain Kirk's shenanigans XD

You know, I love you for that - you always post some weird/unusual/hilarious stuff like that loveable cartoon about Greek octopuses last time.

I find all sorts of entertaining stuff on Teh Intarwebz, and I feel duty-bound to share my entertainment. Or pain.

yeah, but you're actually, you know, good at it. Finding stuff I hadn't known I'd like to see.

This makes me a bit ashamed my own lj is utterly useless. /consumer attitude ftw

I just spend a lot of time online, and have a whole lot of different sites I follow proving links of all types.

Mine's a permanent account, I had better get some use out of it.

Whoah, jello is jelly? That explains so much, omg. Wow.

Mr Shatner is deliciously barking, you know.

You wouldn't believe the talent on that album. I don't believe it and I've actually confirmed a few of them.

But honestly...ANY cover of Bohemian Rhapsody is not going to out do Queen or even get within a few miles of Queen. So what the hell.

Interesting aside; he claimed he'd never heard Bohemian Rhapsody before covering it. Which may explain why "Bismillah!" was changed to "It's my law!" Or not. :D

Let's just say that for many non-Americans, hearing talk about Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches is really confusing. And sort of gross.

I might believe it; the cover of Common People he did a while back with... someone is great. And I also like the version of Rocking the Suburbs.

But this version of Bohemian Rhapsody is just a very special kind of WTF.

Yeah. PB&J sandwiches *are* gross, though. I do not understand them.

But I was trying to read a recipe from a - I think Irish? - site that called for jelly a while back, and it was, uhm. Incredibly confusing.

Two countries divided by a common language. Or more than two, but you get what I mean.

I think he's adorable but in some ways it's just Mr. Shatner's world and we're allowed to live in it. At least for that video.
