Aha! It is the start of a new month, so my internet and I are back. Back, I say!

Er, yes...

The other night there was no hot water in Clunies. Again. I was Not Amused. This type I had to wander ovet to West Wing (The college one, not the TV show) just so I could have a damned shower.

I think it's fixed now. Operative word being "think". And if it isn't I am going to have a nice long talk with someone in charge, I swear...

However, college isn't all doom and gloom. I am rather amused by the fact that in an attempt to get people up and studying during Swotvac, the kitchen is shamelessly bribing us students by handing out chocolate bars at breakfast. But it's chocolate, so I'm not complaining. Even if it means I can't sleep in as much.

Apparently, Makybe Diva won the Cup again today. I don't particularly care.

Also in geeky news, [livejournal.com profile] fa11ing_away's Thinkgeek order has apparently arrived. So tomorrow I shall toddle down to Uni and get my stuff. Shall be mondo happy there.

Oh, and Star Wars Episode Three is now out on DVD. *winces* Oh, you bastard DVD company, why now? Why?

Maybe I'll buy it as some post exams thing or something.

My, cynical, aren't we?

I liked it. Not nearly as much as the originals, but I still liked it.

I loved the originals and the books too much to want to see Lucas destroy his own creation.
I mean, true, it was amusing, and it was good to have some closure on what actually happened in the back story, but it could have been so much better, story wise.

Oh, I forgot to mention, III was better than I + II because of the (apparent) lack of Jar Jar.

Books. *winces* Ugh!

Let us just agree not to discuss the books, shall we?

It could have been better, I agree, but then, pretty much all things can.

There's a problem with the books? There have been several nicely done star wars books, none that require an instant *wince*.

Look, I regard the SW books in the same way I do the HP movies - published fanfiction, nothing less. Which means while some a good, a whole lot of them are utter drek.
