So, as I promised [livejournal.com profile] melbournian a photo of how the purple hair is... well, slightly less purple, now, I thought I'd go bung a couple of photos from Christmas up as well.

Not that I took many (I don't find big family photos particularly interesting, so I didn't find much to take pictures of).

Firstly,

Hmmm. Not so much purple as blonde with purple streaks. Which is quite weird, really, I haven't been blonde in ages.

I like this. This looks prettiful. Beats the crappy Brunswick grafitti around here.

The Sister with Lucky, our poor dear (and rather ancient) cat. She insisted I take this photo.

I swear, everytime I went near the thing, it started reaching for me. It was evil, that tree. Pure, pure evil.

Also, did not mention it yesterday, but I have started on The Job.

The Job is actually quite crappy, really, but the people I work with a nice, and it is good enough for now. Money sucks, but it's something for the resume, and will keep the parentals happy for the while.

And most people I ring are quite nice. Not very many hang up or are abusive, I've found - I've only had a couple be nasty. Though I was amused by this one lady who hung up on me because she was busy watching the cricket.

In the year 2006 I resolve to:

Forget my New Year's Resolution.

Sounds like the best resolution one can make, in my opinion.

Speaking of New Year's, what are you all doing, Melbourninas?

Teehee, I can just imagine everyone launching their presents from the other side of the room due to not wanting to go anywhere near the christmas tree of almost certain doom.

*clang crash!* as the breakables land. Ahh, good times.

I'm terrible with forgetting presents :S Or really good at it, I should say. I haven't given my friend her birthday present from May yet *sheepish look*.

Teehee! These kids were seven and eleven, and after telling me that my tinsel positioning was all wrong ('No, you've got put it like this!') they got bored and decided to dance around to Bohemian Rhapsody instead. So I did the rest, but they got the credit. Bah!

No-one else seemed to have a problem with the tree, actually. Obviously, they had spent too much time around it, and it hadstarted to have a negative influence on their minds.

I forgot my sister's birthday present last year. She has never, ever, let me forget that.

And that's what kids are for, I suppose. Being bossy and lazy, and then getting all the credit.
