Best Wake-up Call Ever

So, I was lying in bed, enjoying my sleep, when my phone starts ringing. Which naturally wakes me up. So, in case it is actually important, I clamber down to answer it (which is bloody difficult from a top bunk, I assure you)

And...it's Gina from Chambers Real Estate.

Yes, that Gina, altheas and fa11ing_away.

She was ringing me about the Brickworks Drive place. No, we haven't got it. Yet.

She was ringing to tell me that she was going to email the owner (who was apparently over in the UK now. Or something), and ask if we would be suitable tenants.

And I was informed ours was the only application she was putting forward to the owner. And that we had a 90 percent chance of getting the place.

Sure, she thought we had gone to the inspection on Saturday. (And I *cough* did nothing to dissuade this assumption) But still...

Ninety percent chance of getting the Brickworks Drive place. And we'll know by the end of the week. Possibly within 48 hours.

I'm still all for house-huntiness tomorrow, but at this rate, we really won't need it.

I am very happy.
