No, the heading doesn't have much to do with...anything, really. It's just become my current curseword/insult/generic exclamation. No idea why exactly, except that the actual phrase itself was pinched from [livejournal.com profile] cryptile's lovely fanfic Past Due, and thus there is extreme randomness.

It got far too much use today, I can tell you that much.

Anyway, today was the CHAS Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster Day, but in lieu of the ansance of any Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters, we just went for some random weird mictures of drinks. (My personal favourite was Black Sambuca and Ribena, which tastes just like black jelly beans)

We also ended up spending far too much time playing with food colouring, mean that my hands are still stained blue. But it was a fun day.

Random Quotage:
[livejournal.com profile] jess_with_a_hat: "How do you knit a Mobius strip?"
[livejournal.com profile] daemon42: "Carefully."

The above was in reference to the rainbow Mobius scarf [livejournal.com profile] daemon42 made for me, which I was wearing today. (I was also wearing my Dalek t-shirt today, in honour of [livejournal.com profile] misscam)

Oh, and we decided that My scarf/My socks = OTP liek whoa!

What else...

We ended up watching a few videos and stuff online, in which I discovered that Robot Chicken is one of the funniest shows ever. And we also saw a video clip for that Numa Numa song, which is utterly hilarious, and in all honesty, one of the gayest things ever.

You watch it, you'll see what I mean.

mmm, rubbing sand on chestness ...

Hi, I'm Lauren, the first yr who was wearing ... clothes (I've forgotten now) ... yesterday. Add me for I wear clothes. Yes... *adds*

Hee! Matrix crossover. Not that I hadn't thought of that... but I definitely hadn't connected the Oracle or the Architect with ones like the Rani and the Master. *beams* Oh, and the Valeyard. Hmm. I'm a little too amused by this.

Bloody Wachowskis would get so much use. *loves* And that would have worked well for any comments on V.

Mmm, glod brick with a slice of lemon.

Ooh, Dragostea din Tei vid! They bring utter joy. *dances*

I love that fic for putting that idea there, it makes me think all sorts of amusing things.

And I have not as yet seen V. Woe.

That video is crack. CRACK, I TELL YOU!

From: [identity profile] melata-fic.livejournal.com

I know. I'd had the idea from one of the really odd NA stories, but that... just utterly made sense. So much fun.

V is... interesting. I need to read the Graphic Novel (as I've proved I like Alan Moore's style quite a bit). But the film has the usual "bloody Wachowskis" moment with the fight scene in slow-mo. Hopefully that isn't spoiler. Is a good scene, though, just... typical of them.

It is! It's like the Village person sings Numa Numa Yay!

Someone so needs to write that crossover now.

I've heard mixed things about V. An awful lot of people seem to love it hugely and obsessively, whereas a few other people I know seem to really despise it. I think I'll have to see what to make of it myself.

There is no end to the awesome.

From: [identity profile] melata-fic.livejournal.com

Yes. Though... that means watching the movies again. Eek.

I'm sort of mixed. I love it lots, yes, but not as much as I should. It's a bit ridiculous in parts, and yet... I love the potential of it, and the acting. Also, I found Stephen Fry hot. That shall never cease to amuse and disturb me. It's worse than the Two!love.

:D

All the great artists suffered, you know...

I shall have to see for myself, it seems. *sigh* I have no time for movies right now. Or perhaps just no energy for them.

From: [identity profile] melata-fic.livejournal.com

Mmm. Perhaps I just watch for the Hugo Weaving? Heh. At least their suffering was usually pain... not water torture by boring action scenes and WTF moments, mixed with Keanu Reeves.

Probably good to rent it... but then it'll seem even more silly. I would recommend the GN, though, if it weren't so expensive.

From: [identity profile] drakyndra.livejournal.com

*snerk* I don't mind Keanu. I just ignore what he is saying, and look at the pretty.

Perhaps I'll just what until it can be... obtained online.

From: [identity profile] melata-fic.livejournal.com

Yeah, but... I need a few drinks to make it more interesting. Keanu is better when he's playing a really unconvincing doctor in some movie or other, because I can just giggle. In Matrix, I tend to have to take him seriously.

Obtaining's good. :) Well, if it's made up for a bit later, anyway.
