So, in honour of ANZAC day and all... I am posting memes.

Not exactly the deepest way to remember things, really. I am rather shallow here, aren't I?

1. Aside from the Doctor, what's the one role you'd die to see Tennant in?
God, that's a tricky one. There are just so many things I could see him doing, really, and it's not as if I am a big drama expert, so I can't come up with those interesting and slightly unusual ones like Blackpool that he did so well.

That said, a while back I read on someone's LJ suggesting he'd be great as Crowley in a Good Omens film/TV movie. That'd be awesome - can't you just see him in the sunglasses and black and snarkiness?

2. Dream episode of Doctor Who?
Are you trying to kill me with hard questions? The thing is, a lot of the things that I would really love to see being done seem to be on the books for this season - meeting up with an old companion (School Reunion, duh), the rumours about an episode showing an outside POV of the Doctor's adventures, and how they effect the ordinary people...

But at the moment, I'm just looking forward to the rest of the season, as well as hoping for something character heavy for Tennant to show off just how good he is. Though with the whole hubris consequences thing, this looks like it just might happen too...

3. If you could change one thing about Australia, what would it be?
Get rid off Howard, and do something about the bloody bigotry in certain elements of the government. Try and get away from the minion-ness we have for the US right now. Possibly have another go at that vote to become a republic. (Dude, the royals are werewolves, do we really want them any more?) My whole vaguely republican stance makes my "Republicans for Voldemort t-shirt oh that muc more hilarious

4. Why do Americans drink Foster's?
Fucked if I know.

5. If Ten had a little name for his tongue, what would it be?
Ten... tongue... *swoons*

1.) Gosh, this is hard. There are lots of fictional characters I'd like to see meet up. Right now, I'm gonna have to say Sam Tyler, from Life On Mars meeting up with any version of the Doctor from Doctor Who. Despite the fact that Doctor Who is a TV show for Sam, I want to see the meet up happen. I think there could be great potential for uh, LOTS OF STUFF. Hell, with the right circumstances, Sam could be an awesome Companion and, damn but wouldn't 10/Sam be lovely?

2.) Hmmm. I've traveled to a lot of places, and seen a lot of things. There are beautiful places in both Hawai'i and Japan I could cite. But I think, really, home is my favorite place. I just feel comfortable and at peace here. I suck.

3.) Gah. Well, I'd invest probably 750,000 or more. I'd help my folks out with bills, certainly cover all my personal expenses. I'd probably allow myself $5,000 to play with, take a vacation to England with my girlfriend, maybe. Buy a few trinkets . . . I love collecting stuff. So, you know I'd buy Doctor Who on DVD or whatever. I'd like to save most of it though. Thatd' be handy.

4.) Gah. I'd really like more backstory on Wash, either in flashbacks or prequels or whatever. I think we know the least about him of any character. I'd love to see more development of Jayne, as well. There is just so much I want out of the show that we didn't get. I'd like to know more about Inara, as well. Hahaha. I think it'd be interesting to see a "fixed" River, too. Maybe I'd like her more, or at least I hope at least getting some more canon fixed-River would stop all the Mary Sue River fics that sprang up after the film.

5.) Gah. I adore Nine in "The Doctor Dances" when he does his, "Oh, give me a day like this! Just this once, Rose, everybody lives!" I also love when, in "Bad Wolf" (or maybe it's "The Parting of the Ways"?) he yells at the Daleks, who have captured Rose, and he gets all speechifying and angry and spittle starts flying. THAT'S AWESOME YAY. Ten has yet to reach that intensity. He tried (and failed, IMO) in New Earth. His anger is good, but it doesn't feel as genuine as Nine's. He just feels a little forced, like he ought to be angry, but is going too far. I really loved the Nine/Rose kiss, too. It was unexpected for me, and I was like, "Damn, they actually went there." So I squeed. :D

Though, there was a line Four says to Davros in "The Destiny of the Daleks" that is (paraphrased) something like, "I see ten thousand years in stasis has done nothing to curb your meglomania" or something. It made me laugh and laugh. Four is very funny in season 17, and I like funny. ♥
