Is this an LJ I see before me? And is it, wonders never cease, actually working properly?

Oh LJ, never leave me again!

(While I have had some intermittent access over the last few days, this is the first time it's actually let me comment or post. Hopefully things are solved over at LJ HQ.)

Anyway, it was all rather inconvenient because I have piles of stuff to comment about - semester has started up again so there's some things about class to talk about, there's a new Dresden Files book out (guess what I spent homework and LJ-less yesterday doing) which people are free to chat about in the comments if we want to talk spoilers, and oh yeah, it was my LJversary.

Happy birthday for Tuesday, my LJ, you are now seven years old.

After all that LJ related fluffiness, it's probably a bit odd to mention, but I do actually have a Dreamwidth account. It is surprisingly enough also under the name "Drakyndra".

Thus far it's mostly just so I can comment on accounts and what-not, but if LJ continues on like this I may have to look into crossposting things.

And I'm back!

...Not that I actually went anywhere, which is why the absence of tweets for the past few days. We had a fairly lazy weekend - mostly stayed around the house, or went shopping for a bit. So yeah, not really tweetable.

However, we get busy again for the next couple of weeks - tomorrow we head off to Washington D.C. until Thursday, next week we are in Las Vegas from Tuesday to Saturday, and then the week after we are in New York from Monday to Friday. So yeah, heading off a bit further afield. Which means back to tweeting, and my comments may be less quick to respond (until I am back here on the weekends).

Yeah, my Uncle and cousin are going to be busy working, so we will no longer have our convenient driver and guides. ;)

Anyway, I see fandom has failed to utterly implode in my absence. I am not sure if I should be pleased about this or not. Probably pleased; I like to witness implosions as they happened.

As for Australia - anything particularly exciting happening there? Either election related, or not - we don't get a real lot of Australian news here, I have to say.

And finally, huzzah LJversary! Yes, my LJ is now six years old (yeah, screw timezones, it's still the 26th where I am; therefore it is still the 26th for my LJ).

There is something mildly terrifying about the fact that, as of today, I've been using this LJ for five years. I mean seriously, that's weird.

Huzzah and all for the glorious fifth birthday of my LJ, but it's rather strange to look back on (Though not quite as strange as reading some of my earliest posts. Oh God, me as an ickle kiddo still in school. It's embarrassing, really).

But weirdness aside, I shall do my normal ritual of celebration: Post LJ Statistics!

...Yeah, I know.

Since I started this LJ 5 years ago, I have:
- Friended 215 people
- Been friended by 225 people
- Joined 178 comms, and 14 RSS feeds
- Made 1178 posts
- Posted 19,041 comments
- Received 15,438 comments

And in just the past year (since I last did this), I have:
- Friended 19 people
- Been friended by 11 people
- Left 28 comms and 2 RSS feeds
- Made 180 posts
- Posted 1, 638 comments
- Received 1,226 comments

Which makes me even less busy than the year before - though admittedly the whole "trying to escape the Whoniverse" explains a lot of it. Or maybe I just need to post more.

Is it possible to have such a thing as a gratuitous post post? 'Cos that's what this is due to be.

Or in other words, huzzah! My LiveJournal is four years old today! Celebrate! And so on and so forth.

...I've been keeping an LJ for four years. That's a mildly frightening thought.

Anyway, to keep up with my LJversary traditions, I now give you statistics.

This was meant to be posted yesterday. But it was

tinyteddyqueen's 21st, and so I never got around to it. Um, whoops?

In any case, yesterday my LJ managed to become three years old. Huzzah! *throws streamers*

To continue on the tradition I've had going, I chose to celebrate this event with, erm, statistics. Because it's interesting seeing how my online life has change in the time that has passed.

In any case, in it's three years of existence, this LJ has seen me:
