Does it amuse anyone else that a whole bunch of people who were going on about this season appeared to have no through thread or character arc now seem to be claiming the whole thing is full of "anvils" for Rose's death.
Then again, most of these people were the ones that were convinced that Rose wasn't leaving CERTAINLY, NO, SHE SAID SHE WAS IN SERIES THREE!
It's just...amusing. And rather ironic.
Though I still stand by my Big Damn Decoy claim. So I suppose the writers are getting what they aimed for, in a sense...
Also, on account of Love & Monsters, I have now gone and downloaded a bunch of ELO songs. They're great! *doesn't know how she should feel about this*
ETA: Oh, DWM came early! *pounces on preview of final eps*

And the kiss wasn't as good as with Rose.
Awwwww bless, she loves Rose so much she ends up watching a completely different show to the rest of us. This is what shipping does to you. I'll forgive her 'cause she's 14.
I didn't see Madame de Pompadour doing anything as spectacular!
That's because this is a childrens show. They had to cut that bit out.
Thank you for typing that up, it's made me happy in my brain.

It's like the way Harmonians seem to read an entirely different Harry Potter series. That said, there are some 14 year olds and T&C.

See, that makes me want to ask exactly how spectacular Rose's life would have been if she hadn't gone with the Doctor. All of her grand actions were directly from him. Whereas Madame de Pompadour managed to have huge influence over the French court, politics, fashion, society, the King even without the Doctor's intervention.
