It's like the Rose Pearse fics, in which the regulars act like such twats that you end up sympathising with people the writers really don't intend.

I've only read the story you linked to, I think. But that's exactly what I did. Silly writers.

(One of them doesn't actually dislike Reinette, from a reply to a review of hers. I sort of want to ask her why she's responding to the challenge, then.)
