Well, it's not entirely fanon based - Nine was always more closed off, a bit more... oh, I don't know, maybe it's that thing about his supposed "intensity", but he strikes me as the sort of character who would attach a lot of significance to sex, because that kind of intimacy with someone is a Big Fucking Deal for him.

Whereas Ten seems more... it's the tactile thing. He likes to experiment and explore, and I get the impression that he would try sex, just for the hell of, but it wouldn't be nearly as important.
