In three weeks time, I am due to give a presentation to my lab class on an article relating to out lab assignment. A presentation no longer than 20 minutes.

How bloody long is it supposed to go for? And how the shit am I supposed to talk for that long? I mean, I'm good at talking, I just don't say very much.

*sighs* If anyone actually cares, the presentation is on "A temperamental approach to humor" by Ruch and Kohler, from The sense of humour: Explorations of a personality characteristic.

Bastards never told me about this on the subject info.

I bet it's easier than it looks now, presentations always bend time somehow and you've been talking for 15 minutes before you even glanced at the clock to check. You'll be fine, I'm sure *hugs*

Yup, that sounds familiar.

Last semester everyone in our group had to give a (very short) presentation on something we were writing an essay about. The week before we had to give it, my (and just about everyone else's) reaction was 'Oh shit, still have to cobble something together for that presentation.

Luckily (or not) for us, those were really short presentations, about five minutes each. Predictably, lots of people overran spectacularly.
