Oh man, there is going to be some epic wank from fandom once this airs. It looks like some people have already started on certain places online...

I don't really watch Torchwood due to complete apathy towards pretty much all of the characters, so I've been saying for months (even before we knew about Martha's departure from DW, actually) that the show would be vastly improved by Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies, thus leaving Jack and Martha (and possibly Mickey at this rate *crosses fingers*) to fight crime.

Since maybe the BBC is listening to me after all, I want Bill Nighy for the Eleventh Doctor, with two full-time companions. I'd also like my own pony.

It's actually a pretty crappy power. My serious, considered speculation always ends up dead wrong, whereas jokey throwaway remarks end up having a kernel of truth.

It's says a lot about me that this is what popped into my head, but I'm suddenly reminded of a HP fandom crack theory someone had, which noted that random sarcastic comments Ron made had an uncannily large proportion end up coming true.
