Did someone forget to tell Summer that it isn't due for another month? Because Sweet Tinkerbell Jesus, sometimes I really hate freaking Melbourne WeatherTM. 34 degrees. Ack.

Also, BRB flipping out over what the hell I can wear to Interning tomorrow. What do professional people wear in 30+ degree weather, anyway?

'Twasn't all sucktastic, though. Creative Writing is finished! For, um, ever. Two majors down, huzzah! I even got a reasonable amount of sleep and everything.

Which just leaves me with finishing up Interning stuff, and studying for my one exam on the 26th. Much less stressful.

Oh, and my upcoming series of Hen's Nights to attend, which shall be... interesting. Never been to one before, and suddenly there are two in two weeks.

Incidentally, I fixed up the settings on my Egypt Photos so they are now actually viewable to the public. (Thanks for pointing that out, [livejournal.com profile] fa11ing_away) Jordan pictures from that trip will go up... sometime before the forthcoming Cambodia trip.

So, what's new with you guys, since I am no longer distracted by procrastination my assignments?

Also: HOW ABOUT THOSE FMA SPOILERS? Come on, raws and scanlations!

I think mostly I've decided that Hobart should not be hotter than Brisbane in November (seriously, 30 plus degrees wtf?). Otherwise I am mostly glad to be finished with exams and oh, surprisingly excited about Waters of Mars.

(As for professional wear - I got lucky and got an internship where I could wear light dresses/skirts in light colours and fabrics. And nice flats. I hope there's something in your wardrobe that could help with that).

If I ever meet one of those people who claim there is no such thing as Global Warming, I shall punch them. Or I would if I had the energy.

You're done with exams? Lucky. I've sort of given up on Doctor Who now, though I do still follow the reactions on my flist.

Flats I have, and I have a suitably light skirt. I am just having an issue with tops.

Yes, that sentence very much. Especially as last summer Hobart had two 45 plus degree days in a row (this is Tasmania. We don't have days that hot).

Done with written exams - I've got some coursework still to do though. And Doctor Who - I sort of want to give up, but the trailer does look interesting. Possibly.

During my all to brief parliamentary internship, I got away with a nice white top (with mid length sleeves) but yes, it's difficult.

Oh argh, that sounds horrible. (Last summer I joked about going to Egypt to get away from the heat here. Which was hilarious, and then the bushfires happened).

Ah, I see. Different system, I suppose - Most coursework here seems to be due in about the time exams start. I'll wait and see what the opinion on Doctor Who is.

Problem is I have very few nice summery tops. My summer tops are all a bit to casual (Or, like, party/evening wear).
